FOUNDING ACCESS / TRUST
Founding Reservation Policy
Effective for the founding round · Updated July 14, 2026
1. The three public commitment paths
- For my family: reserve one household Founder cohort at $299, $750, $1,500, or $2,499.
- Gift a Founder seat: reserve the fixed $299 Founder Family lifetime household entitlement for a specific recipient or transferable claim.
- Sponsor OpenSeat: reserve a one-time contribution to the shared access pool, expressed in estimated $20 student-month units.
An invitation to another family is separate: they select and fund their own commitment. It provides no commission, discount, points, or reward.
2. One complete reservation
The reservation flow records the commitment type, selected tier or amount, required contact information, acceptance of the conditional-charge terms, and a payment method handled by the payment provider. LogNormal should not receive or store the complete card number.
3. Inventory
Personal cohorts are limited to 100 Founder Families, 150 Founder Circle households, 50 Architect Founders, and 35 Legacy Founders. A submitted reservation may temporarily remove a place from availability before charging. Failed, expired, or cancelled reservations return to inventory.
4. Round duration and launch condition
The round remains open for no more than 120 calendar days and may close earlier if all places are reserved. LogNormal proceeds to the founding release only if confirmed reservations reach at least 60% of the internal funding goal. A public progress display, if later provided, is informational and does not change the condition or commitment amount.
5. Notice before payment
If the launch condition is reached, LogNormal will provide at least 72 hours’ notice before attempting the one-time charge. The notice will state the commitment, amount, expected charge date, and available update or cancellation route.
6. Update or cancel
A reservation may be cancelled before payment, including during the notice period. A timely cancellation releases any held inventory and no charge is made. Payment details may be updated through the designated secure provider flow when available; complete card details should never be emailed.
7. Payment failure
If the one-time charge fails, LogNormal may send a recovery notice with a stated correction deadline. No unspecified recurring retries or subscription enrollment are authorized. If the correction period ends without successful payment, the reservation is released.
8. If the condition is not met
The reservation expires automatically, no charge is made, and any stored payment token should be removed or allowed to expire according to the provider and applicable retention rules. A later offer requires new consent.
9. Tier equality and participation
Every personal cohort receives the same core lifetime household product. Higher cohorts add structured visibility, advisory participation, proximity, and recognition. They do not add better mathematics, equity, governance, a veto, roadmap control, custom development, or unlimited team access.
10. Gifts
A gifted seat is the $299 Founder Family entitlement. The recipient receives the license and Founder Family status. The purchaser does not accumulate additional Founder influence. Gift delivery and claim-expiry details must be shown in the reservation flow before commitment.
11. OpenSeat
OpenSeat commitments enter a shared pool. Sponsors do not choose recipients or receive identifying learner information. The founding-page commitment is one-time unless an explicitly separate recurring arrangement is later offered and accepted. Estimated student-months do not promise that one named learner receives the entire amount.
12. Refunds and mandatory rights
Because no charge occurs at reservation, there is nothing to refund before payment. Any post-charge refund, cooling-off, or cancellation right will follow the final purchase terms and mandatory law presented before charging. Final processor-specific and regional refund language requires legal review.
